Taste of Xi An, Traditional Chinese Grilled Fish in Sydney
Chinese love Kao Yu, it's a type of grilled fish pot, you get to choose different ingredients such as potato, noodles, tofu skin, vegetable, mushrooms, quail eggs, etc. to cook together in the sauce of the fish and make it into a big stew pot, yes kinda like the Hot Pot. The highlight is the freshness of the fish and the flavorful sauce.
The Burwood famous Chinese Xi'an Grill finally opens a new branch in Chinatown, so we visited with our foodie crew. Check out our food hunting video.
Get a group of friends to help eat and further add addtional ingredients such as enoki mushroom, lotus root and my favourite prawns to the dish adding smoky flavour. Be sure to have ice water/coke and bowl of rice nearby to help alleviate the spiciness.
Cold dish plate: pig ears, lotus root, beef slices
Rating: 4/5
I personally like the lotus root in the cold dish a lot, a bit spicy but we are true chilli lovers.
Garlic flavor crayfish
Rating: 3.5/5
This one is not too spicy, so if you would like to try some crayfish (Xiao Long Xia) but you cannot eat too hot, order this flavor.
Hot and spicy crayfish
Rating: 3/5
Well I think this is definetely one of the best crayfish you can get in Australia, but you can't compare it to the ones back in China - more flavors and better larger crayfish. If you ever visit Shanghai during the crayfish season, make sure you try the steamed flavors with sweet vinegar dipping sauce, so so good.
Grill fish (flavor: mapo tofu, hot & spicy, garlic)
Rating: 3.5/5
We tried their three flavors of Grilled Fish: Mapo Tofu flavour, hot & chilli the signature one, and the garlic flavour (my favorite). Fish is very good, a bit too salty though. Lucky we ordered 2 buckets of rice.
Xi'an style beef tripe
Rating: 4/5
The other Xi'an classic dishes are highly recommended too, of course if you are comfortable to eat the ingredients, such as: beef tripe, pig ear, yum!
Stir-fried vegetable
Rating: 2.5/5
Good flavor, too oily.
Once again, the whole meal is a bit salty and strong flavored, so get ready to eat lots of rice, it's awesome! AUSOME:)

Optical fiber cables are arranged in bundles in a sensible manner along with other components to protect the fiber during construction and ensure that the signal transmitted in the fiber cable is at least attenuated. A central fiberglass or refined plastic conductor is included to allow maximum light transmission. Fiber is coated with a lining to reflect the signal well.
